This Privacy, Cookies and Personal Data Protection Policy (“Policy”) is prepared for the purpose of processing the personal data of the members of the website www.giyiworld.com or its customers and informing the users in accordance with the Law No. 6698 on Protection of Personal Data ("Law").

The purpose of this Policy is to determine the terms and conditions regarding the use of personal data shared with Giyi by the members/customers/visitors/ users (“Data Subject”) of the website at www.giyiworld.com which is operated by Giyi during the use of the www.giyiworld.com website.                 

Protection of Data

Giyi Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. Şti (“Giyi”) takes the necessary technical and administrative measures, using its technological and substructural facilities to ensure that the personal data is securely stored and processed lawfully.

Personal data can be processed by Giyi in cases specified in this Policy in accordance with the Law and the relevant legislation. Persons, whose personal data are processed in accordance with the Law, can obtain information from Giyi about the personal data that can be processed and the purpose of processing, the persons to which they can be transferred, the method of collection and the legal reasons and the rights which they have regarding such personal data.

During the use of the website www.giyiworld.com , all credit card transactions and approvals, if any, are carried out online by the relevant bank or card institutions independent of Giyi, and the credit card password cannot be viewed or recorded by Giyi.

Data processed by Giyi or deemed as personal data within the scope of the Law are shown below.

The Purpose of Processing Personal Data

Giyi will be able to process personal data that is reported / provided by the Data Subject in full compliance with the Law for the following purposes;

  1. i) registration of membership, creation of membership account, keeping records related to membership,
  2. ii) delivering, pricing and billing of services; carrying out and ensuring the tracking of the transactions requested for the services or products / goods purchased and / or used,

iii) promotion and marketing of services and / or products, communicating with them regarding these, notification of campaign, discount, benefit, condition, pricing; providing opportunities such as membership, benefiting from the activities and performing the necessary procedures for their use,

  1. iv) presenting offers, free gifts and promotions,  advertising;  sending congratulations and wishes.
  2. v) utilization for the development, control and analysis of services and / or products; evaluating the interest in services and / or products, researching customer satisfaction; providing call center service, answering questions, complaints and notifications,
  3. vi) the protection of information that should be saved in accordance with the relevant legislation; copying and backing up to prevent the loss of information; ensuring the consistency of information; taking all necessary technical and administrative measures for the security of the information,

vii) fulfillment of legal obligations required or forced by legal regulations; diversification, measurement, financial reporting, legal follow-up of products and services,

viii) conducting related business processes, to recommend, promote, plan by customizing products and services according to likes, usage habits and needs,

ıx) creating and implementing legal, technical, administrative, commercial or business strategies,

  1. x) collecting information related to advertisements by examining visits to the website; improving the website and providing better service; ensuring the improvement and development of the services that Giyi provides and the products it sells; providing a user-friendly and better shopping experience; obtaining statistical information and compiling this information; Development of the commercial activities of Giyi; carrying out necessary studies and practices to recommend products and services by customizing them according to usage, likes and needs; performing sales and after-sales operations; confirming the identity information of the Data Subject for the exchange of transactions; responding to complaints, suggestions and requests.

In accordance with the Law and the Communique on Principles and Procedures to Be Followed in Fulfillment of the Obligation to Inform, provided that it is;

  1. i) for the fulfillment of the objectives stated as limited and explained above,
  2. ii) clearly prescribed by Law,

iii) compulsory to protect the life or bodily integrity of the Data Subject or someone else who is unable to explain her/his consent due to de facto impossibility or whose consent is not given legal validity,

  1. iv) necessary to process personal data of the parties provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of the contract,
  2. v) compulsory for Giyi to fulfill his legal obligation,
  3. vi) publicized by the Data Subject,

vii) mandatory to process data for the establishment, utilization or protection of a right,

viii) not damaging the fundamental rights and freedoms of the Data Subject, 

In cases where data processing is mandatory and / or for the legitimate interests of Giyi, Giyi may process the Data Owner's personal data in accordance with the Law.

Transfer of Personal Data

Giyi may transfer the personal data of the Data Subject to the following, in full compliance with the Law;

  1. i) business partners, supplier companies that cooperated with and / or received services from for the provision of services and / or marketing, selling, shipping and promotion of products,
  2. ii) service providers, law firms, hosting services in order to fulfill the purpose or objectives specified in this Privacy Policy

iii) suppliers or service providers, companies, in order to fulfill the services or agreements made with Data Subject.

Method and Legal Reason of Collection of Personal Data

Personal data are collected electronically via the website www.giyiworld.com , via call center and e-mail.

Personal data can be collected, processed and transferred for the purposes set out above, based on the consent of the Data Subject for the processing of personal data, or the legal reasons specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law, and other legislation.

Rights of the Personal Data Subject for the Protection of Personal Data 

In accordance with Article 11 of the Law, the Data Subject has the following rights: i) to learn whether personal data is processed or not, to request information about it if it is processed, ii) to learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose, iii) to learn, if any, the third parties (domestic or international) to whom they are transferred, iv) to request correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed v) to request the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the Law, and to request that deletion and destruction be notified to third parties to whom personal data are transferred, vi) if personal data are processed against the law; to request the elimination of the damage incurred due to being processed in violation of the law, vii) to object to the emergence of a result that is against the processed data by analyzing exclusively through automated systems.

This Cookie Policy is an annex and an integral part of the Privacy Policy.
